- Did you know that the glycerin found in many lotions and soaps can cause a false positive on the airport screening test for explosives?
- When packing a flashlight, turn the batteries around so they don’t drain if it is turn on accidentally on during the flight. Remember to turn them back around prior to using.
- Kids need parent contact information on them when you travel, visit an amusement park or even just shopping. An easy solution is to tuck a business card in your child’s pocket before heading out for the day.
- Pack a small flashlight or nightlight for hotel room use. Dark hotel rooms can be scary – plus a little light makes it easier to find the bathroom in the middle of the night.
- Family road trip? Each time you stop spend 5 minutes tidying up the back seats, picking up dropped items and throwing out the trash. It will be time well spent!
- Bringing back a bottle of wine from vacation? Prevent breakage by slipping an inflated water wing over the bottle. Better yet, inflate both arm rings and bring home two bottles!
- Pack crayons in a plastic soap dish while traveling.
